Guys like Togo’s?
My sister and I went to Togo’s today for lunch and we were just about the only girls in the entire joint. I’d say the ratio was about the same as a usual MV ‘04 outing - about 10:1 (all love, guys). I just don’t understand why girls don’t go to sandwich places like Togo’s or Quizno’s. Maybe I should cut down on carbs..
So I just finished writing the addresses for about 30 Xmas cards for our company. Word of advice: Stick with Hallmark. Go for the cheap “Buy 1, Get 1 Free” brand (like Holiday Place.. what??) and you’ll end up spending half your time refolding the damn cards. Oh, and you’ll prolly also manage to get glitter all over your hands, face, desk, and hair even though there is no glitter apparent on the cards themselves. Season’s Greetings, my ass. In other non-related news, I almost got hit again today in this parking lot:
This is definitely one of the worst and scariest parking lots to enter. I’ve been hit here before. Last year, Jenn and I had stopped by here to grab something (food? TapX?) before heading up to Berkeley for NYE and we’re waiting in the car aisle (what are those things called?) for the cars to go and the car in front of me decides to start backing up! Unfortunately, there was no space behind me and she hits me. Fortunately, it was just a love tap (but still!) and didn’t do any visible damage.
Today, I enter the parking lot wanting to pick up some groceries for my mother and ice cream for my fatty sister (<3) and i’m waiting at the end of the aisle for the slow Asian people to cross the road when the car directly to my right starts backing out. I swear - I think my car is invisible. This same thing happened to me in the De Anza parking lot as well (there I got hit, this time I honked long and loud enough not to be)! Maybe I should give up my day job and pretend to be a Prius in my 3-series, all quiet and sneaky and INVISIBLE apparently.
In any case, parking lots now scare me. Hurray.
