Stolen

Back in AP Gov class in senior year of high school, we had to come up with a new invention for one of our assignments. Our group was so clever (at least I thought so) and we came up with the opposite of a microwave - an instant cooler!! I can’t remember what it was called, but I do remember drawing it. I think. Or maybe not.

ANYway, Stanford stole our idea.

Apparently, it’s a heat activated cooler. It’s a refrigerator that doesn’t require electricity that was thought of by some research team at Stanford and funded by a VC named Adam Grosser. Damn you, Stanford team. Now I have to invent something else.

The following is a pretty cute invention - apparently designed for people who need to pee at night and are only in a half-woken stupor and need to find the door knob. Or I feel it’s for people that may drink (a lot or not) and need to find the door knob as well.

This Knob Light has an internal generator that lights up during emergencies. WHEN it can detect an emergency, I don’t know. And if it’s not lit up already, how are people supposed to find it? I’m a little confused.

I have no idea why we started talking about it, but while chatting with Michael, I rediscovered my love for Power Rangers back when they were the big thing. I never knew they had a movie (made in 1995) - or maybe I did and watched it then. In any case, I’d love to watch it now. Think it would be out on DVD? I also wonder where my plastic blue Power Rangers lunch box went, along with my Kimberly (Pink Ranger!!) Barbie doll.

The power is on!!
